UHAMKA Rector, Prof. Dr. Suyatno, M. Pd., accompanied by Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gunawan Suryoputro, M. Hum., warmly and positively welcomed guests from Oxford and Monash University Australia (Tuesday, April 10, 2018), the meeting which was  held in the meeting room of Bung Hatta Campus FEB was attended by Chairman and Vice Chairman of Assembly of Higher Education and Research and Development of PP Muhammadiyah, Prof. Lincolind Arsyad, Prof. Dr. H. Sudarnoto Abdul Hakim, M.A. , Prof. Dr. Edy Suandi Hamid, M. Ec. and the leaders of Muhammadiyah Universities.

At the first meeting with the Oxford, this is a follow-up cooperation in the development of learning and English training to lecturers and students. The lesson that will be given is learning method through module and book. On this occasion, the Oxford presented and discussed the scheme and schedule of joint arrangements between Oxford and UHAMKA, hoping that this program can be implemented soon this year.

Furthermore, in the second meeting was a consolidation of the follow-up cooperation with the Delegation of Monash University by Mrs. Louise Goold Manager of Engagement Monash University. The follow-up of this cooperation is concrete, which is the result of various agreements which were signed at a meeting in Australia in February. The monitoring mechanism for the progress of the implementation of the various agreements that have been signed is in the form of several activities that have been proposed by each Muhammadiyah Higher Education which will be discussed further by the team.

It is proposed that soon in the future there will be a more simple cooperation and may be realized this year such as conducting a public lecture which will be delivered by Mrs. Louise Goold Manager of Engagement Monash University to several PTM in Indonesia, conducting leadership training for Muhammadiyah Leadership and training student leadership for the students of PTM to Monash University Australia.
